Tactile Fragments No. 01 brings together the three elements at the heart of my practice: colour, words, and architecture.
Deep burgundy and blue express the emotions of the moment, while a small accent of orange shifts the balance. Fragments of text introduce traces of stories, partly concealed beneath Japanese and handmade papers. Words become both meaning and material, inviting the viewer to move between reading and looking.
My background in architecture shapes the relationships between forms, layers, and open space. Raised textures and torn edges contrast with the structured composition, preserving the intuitive gestures of making. Through acrylic, paper, and modeling paste, the work explores how colour can hold feeling, words can carry memory, and composition can bring separate fragments into connection.
